Since 2012 we’ve accompanied the world-famous German premium beer brand Warsteiner and look back together upon a successful time. Gooqx took over as a digital lead agency for the key elements of online activities, as well other several challenging and innovative tasks.
As digital lead agency we took over the design, implementation and support of the Warsteiner website, while taking care of social media channels and the digital extension of the alcohol-free campaign. Moreover, Gooqx spearheaded this campaign’s design of the Out-of-Home motif.
We designed the Warsteiner homepage and supervise, publish, and distribute the content in the corresponding channels. Warsteiner customers will find ample information on the website, especially about Warsteiner festivals and other campaigns, events and product information, as well as the opportunity to participate in sweepstakes.
We manage Warsteiner’s social media accounts, such as Facebook and Instagram, and lead their community management and content creation in form of an editorial plan. In addition, we operate the YouTube and Twitter channels.
For the 2016 non-alcoholic campaign, we launched and designed the Out-of-Home poster with popular brand ambassador Jürgen Klopp. We took over the digital extension of the non-alcoholic campaign, and designed and developed a campaign website, which included a raffle for a meet and greet with Jürgen Klopp that pointed the Warsteiner non-alcohol roadshow. Passerbies not only had the opportunity to take humorous photos in front of a green screen in a Vidibox, but also take part in the raffle.
As part of the Parookaville Festival 2015, we designed the social media to OnGround Parooka Church campaign. Festival visitors had the opportunity to experience Warsteiner in a new realm and get acquainted with our hashtag #musikdurstig.
The Parookaville Church was the highlight of the festival.
People danced, celebrated, married and confessed in the church especially designed for the festival. Gooqx developed the concept in which all activities within the Parooka Church were transported live into all social networks. Visitors had the chance to directly post their Parooka-moments through our media consoles.
For a while already, Warsteiner has been cooperating with renowned artists designing various Special Editions. Gooqx helped plan and publish the“Art Collections” in 2013 and 2014. The aluminum Warsteiner bottle presented itself as an ideal medium and simultaneously exciting challenge. We created and directed all social media activities, ads, microsites and booklets of the collection.
In addition, we developed a Facebook app in 2013 that allowed fans to upload their own designs on 3D graphic bottles. At the end of a voting period, users could see what bottle would be published and be presented at special events (such as the Bloom Award).
