I am a freelance photographer from Russia working with national and international magazines, newspapers and companies of different sizes. I focus on questions of identity transformation through different factors as aging, family modification, migration and others.
In 2018 i was awarded with the 3rd place in Vonovia Award in the category „Best Photo series“ with my work „The chosen family“ on adoption in Russia. „The chosen family“ also was exhibited during the 6th LUMIX Festival for Young Photojournalism in Hannover, Germany. I’ve been selected to take part in the European Journalism Fellowship 2018.
My work has been published in Spiegel Online, Newsdeeply, Taz.die tageszeitung, emerge – German Magazine for photojournalism, Neon Magazine, Nido Stern and among others. I’m a founder of the OSTLOOK magazine, an online platform for photography and storytelling from the post- soviet states. Based between Kyiv and Berlin.
