EDUCATION
Kare Koester completed his graphic design technologist studies in 2005 at NOEA – Nordjyllands Erhvervsakademi Design Technology & Business, Denmark. In 2010, Kare established his own design studio named ‚Katana Graphic‘ in Aarhus, Denmark, before relocating to Hamburg, Germany, where he is currently based.
EXPERIENCE
Throughout the years Kare has been working with trend forecasting, conception, point-of-sale material, corporate identity, print & web design, lookbooks, leaflets & catalogues, print ads, illustration and textile print design. Among the software that we are using are iOS, Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Muse, Spark, Portfolio, Bridge & Acrobat), Shopify, Webflow, Jimdo & TexDefine.
STYLE
As a designer, Kare focuses on the potential of information as a visual medium pushing the required image to its limits so that the aesthetics and functions of a design become one unified expression.
